Investigate faults before replacing equipment

Repeated tripping, intermittent operation and damaged accessories require an assessment of the affected circuit and connected equipment. Record what happens and when, and share any recent changes to the installation. Do not repeatedly reset protective devices or open live panels to investigate a fault yourself.

Plan maintenance around the premises

An occupied office, shop or institution needs agreed access, isolation and interruption arrangements. A maintenance scope can consider distribution boards, circuits, accessories and connected equipment, with priorities set according to condition and operational requirements. Keep inspection and service records so recurring issues can be reviewed.

Upgrade for changing demands

Additional rooms, pumps, cooling equipment or production machinery can alter the electrical demand. An upgrade should consider the available supply and existing distribution, protection and wiring. Where solar or generator backup is being added, changeover arrangements and essential circuits need coordinated planning.

Yes. Share the building use, known issues, previous alterations and any available records. The assessment establishes the proposed repair or upgrade scope.

Do you offer a standard maintenance interval?

The appropriate schedule depends on the installation, equipment, environment and manufacturer guidance. Discuss a programme suited to your premises rather than assuming one interval fits every site.
